Theatre Education for all!
The Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center (OHMTEC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to honor Hammerstein's groundbreaking work as a lyricist, librettist, mentor and humanitarian. Our vision is to create a multifaceted and dynamic museum experience with a strong theatre education component at Highland Farm, Hammerstein's home and creative epicenter in Doylestown, PA.
With our recent announcement of the nonprofit's purchase of Highland Farm, we are preparing to embark on the next phase of the project, to Create Hammerstein Museum.
This #GivingTuesday, your donation to The Oscar Hammerstein Museum & Theatre Education Center will not only help us build the museum, but also fund theatre education programs for underserved communities. Let's bring the arts to all!A donation of:
$25 will provide a scholarship for a student to enter our International Youth Solo Contest
$100 will pay for accommodations for solo contest winners to travel to Highland Farm
$400 will pay for a class of 25 students to tour Highland Farm
$1,000 will go towards developing outreach programming for classrooms
