ACT NOW and join the chorus of supporters to help us purchase Highland Farm, Oscar Hammerstein II's home and creative epicenter! Members of OHMTEC's Executive Committee are coming together to provide a $500,000 matching gift challenge for donations received between now and August 1, 2023.

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE to join us in our mission to honor the Broadway legend’s groundbreaking work as a lyricist, librettist, mentor, and humanitarian and to educate and inspire the next generation of theatre-lovers, actors, singers, dancers and lyricists. Our vision is to purchase, restore and preserve this historic property and create a multifaceted and dynamic museum experience with a strong theatre education component, offering special opportunities for children in diverse and underserved communities.

Oscar lived with his family at Highland Farm for the last 20 years of his life. This is the place where he forged his legendary partnership with Richard Rodgers and that inspired many of their greatest musical works, including The Sound of Music, Carousel, The King and I, Oklahoma! and South Pacific, and where he mentored a young Stephen Sondheim. Over 75 Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, and Pulitzer Prizes can be directly traced back to Highland Farm.

Recently the Miranda Family Foundation announced their support with a generous grant to OHMTEC. Now we invite YOU to be a part of this legacy museum and theatre education center by providing your strong support to help us save this historic property for theatre-lovers around the world and generations of children.

With the challenge we are only $500,000 away from our goal of purchasing Highland Farm. Help us to 'Climb Every Mountain' by making your most generous gift today!
